This blade is the identical blade that comes with the Chef's Choice Model 610 Food Slicer. It's called a multi-purpose blade rather than serrated in the slicer description. I'm happy to have an extra blade. I also bought a smooth blade for thin slicing of ham and bread, and a blade sharpener, both of those from "Everything Kitchens" I reommend the slicer, blades and sharpeners be purchased together as all are excellent high quality (I consider them commercial grade)

We've had our slicer for 3 plus years, and pretty much use it daily on homemade bread, weekly for cheese slicing, so it was time for a replacement blade. We use this serrated blade for everything and it has lasted!
