I've used this several times and it gets the job done. It's a little loud and not of professional quality, but for the price it's worked well. I've used it to slice up a 8 pound Filet Mignon, 2 pounds of Italian Sausage, and two pounds of Italian meatballs without any problems. Slicing the sausage was a little tricky as I couldn't slice them into Silver Dollar sized pices and had to cut them length-wise, but that may have been the case with a more expensive slicer.
